Spokespersons for the Green Party of Florida

The Green Party of Florida has Spokespersons who act as contact persons for the media and are authorized to speak for the Party. We may also have individuals who are authorized to speak on a case by case basis relative to a particular event or issue. Those Spokespersons will provide their contact information.

Warning: The discussion email list is mostly unmoderated and may result in MANY emails sitting in your email box. We suggest you setup an email filter or email rule to move your list email into a special email folder that you create just for that list.

Virus Warning: Since the discussion email list is mostly unmoderated, be extremely careful about any attachments that members might send to it. In general, do not open attachments sent to email lists.

Our announcement list (floridagreens) is moderated. It is mainly for Green Party of Florida event/announcements/press releases. However, we do allow some action alerts and other organizations' events to be posted, when in keeping with our Key Values. Discussions, editorials, news-clippings, and advertisements for candidates of other political parties should all go to flgreenstalk, and will be deleted from floridagreens without comment.

Our coordinating council and our various committees all have email lists associated with them. Those are listed where those committees are described, and in our Links area.

In general, our email lists can be joined by sending an email to the name of the list plus -subscribe before the @ (example: " This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ").

If you are already a member of an email list, sending an email from an email account to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it will mean you remain a member of list "listname", but no longer receive email at that account. This is useful for having multiple email addresses subscribed to a list and able to post messages, but having only one of them receive the list emails. Also, you can be a member and only read the messages online.

Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees members consist of the Officers and up to 9 additional members who are elected annually, usually after the Officers are elected.

They are responsible for making sure the party continues to grow and prosper, and fulfills all legal requirements. They help provide leadership and assistance with strategic planning.

Delegates to the Green Party of the United States

GPF is currently accredited for 3 delegates to the National Green Party of the United States Coordinating Committee. This number can expand up to 6 as GPF grows. Delegates are elected annually. Alternates are also elected in order to determine which persons would serve as alternates as needed and when available.
